                April 26   Hunter Clinic with Karen Thurm Ferreri
This clinic is geared toward answering individual questions and solving rider problems when they are in the hunter ring.    Learn about what the judge is looking for, counting strides before a fence, lengthening and shortening strides, how to handle refusals or 'ducking out', and correct stirrup lengths for flat work and jumping.    Clinic participation requires Pre-registration.

Joanne is a United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist and she is a licensed United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) “L” judge.    Joanne trains students and horses at a variety of levels. Many of her former students are now young dressage trainers throughout the United States.

Growing up Joanne rode hunters and jumpers and has evented through Preliminary Level at UnitedStates Eventing Association shows. She has trained and competed several horses through Grand Prix and has shown internationally through Grand Prix. Joanne’s current horse, Thuswin DEW, is a Belgian Warmblood who is competing at the International Federation for Equestrian Sports levels of Prix St. George and Intermediate 1.  They are schooling to make the move up to Grand Prix.

championship qualifying
(see option 2 on prize list). DOF credit  dollars are only valid for DOF shows.
